Hello fellow forum goers,
I've searched high and low for a document management solution for our company, but I've come up short every time. Our needs are simple:

1. The ability to sync the module with a UNC folder. That way our employees can drop a file into a shared folder on the network and have it show up on the site. Open-DocumentLibrary accomplishes this.
2. Security features that still allow people to access documents through a URL.
3. Search capability. Full-text searching of pdf and word documents. Integration with the main dnn search box. It looks like the upcoming DMX 4 beta accomplishes this.

The problem is that O-DL doesn't have search, and won't for a while. DMX 4 doesn't appear to have the directory sync feature.

I'm running out of time to implement this project. If anybody has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
