All of the above, this is what Internet marketeers are looking for.

The current version of Nuke.A.lert provides the ability to insert dynamic content.  First you specify your template using a text editor.  Then you specify your dynamic content by setting SQL, HTML Template that the SQL will be rendered into and the Tag.  At run time, the SQL is executed and merged with your HTML.  The dynamic content is then inserted into your main HTML template where you inserted your dynamic content tag.

If you don't know SQL, v2.0 provides the ability to insert RSS feeds.  Since a lot of modules provide an RSS feed for its data, you can simply use the RSS URL to insert dynamic content.  No SQL required.

The current version provides the ability to allow registered and unregistered users subscribe email campaigns.  New to v2.0 is ability to collect the user’s full name as well as the email address.  You can also optionally register the user if they are not already registered.

Another new key feature in v2.0 is that it tracks when the emails are read.  The design is very robust using a new method that is extremely accurate compared to the traditional methods.  For example, one method is to request a confirmation read receipt.  People can disable this read receipt in their email client.  If they happen to have this feature enabled, most email clients inform the reader that a receipt has been requested.  Some people see this as an invasion of their privacy and will decline the confirmation.  They may also unsubscribe from your mailings.   Another method is to append a query string to your image tags.  This will append the query string to your IIS logs when read.  The problem with this is that it requires parsing of the IIS logs.  More importantly, SPAM filters check for this method and will block your email because of it.  Nuke.A.lert uses a method that is impossible to block unless your email client completely blocks HTML.

Hi Chris,

Apart from the intial contact when I asked a question (took a while to get back to me) I found the application installed very simply and ran without issue from a programming perspective, when I tried to adjust it in any way it simply would not play ball, I sent a few emails to you and did not receive a reply then it timed out so I have uninstalled it (SigmaPro).

We sell time and knowledge as a software support help desk and we managed projects so this sounded ideal the reality was it was overly complex, it may suit many other people and given the chance to have something that works I would try again.

I wish you well in your endeavours you are clearly a clever person

Kind regards

Paul

Paul,

Sorry for the delay in communications.  A fire on August 5th prevented normal business operations for the last week.   Internet connectivity was limited and most of the time it wasn't available at all.   For future reference, you can call our 800 number at any time, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, every day of the year.  The sales representatives can answer most questions over the phone.

Email me directly at ChrisOnyak(at)OnyakTech.com and I will answer any questions you have on the setup.  For a fee, I can also offer the service of configuring the modules for you on your site as well as any custom changes you may need.

SigmaPro 7.0 should be available in the next 45 days and one of the primary key focuses is the ease of use while not compromising functionality.  I think you will definitly be pleased with this new release.
