Hi,

We are using DNN 4.0.3 for our portal application. For perfomance improvement we have applied compression to the website at IIS level, now the thing is that when we try to download any txt or xml or css file, we get blank or corrupted file. When compression is removed it works fine. Does anyone know about it? Is there any solution for it such as third party module or similar? Is it problem with DNN version?

Thanks,

Pallavi

you need to exclude the download files from compression. Easiest option is to upgrade to current DNN version and use DNN built-in compression or Snapsis page blaster.
