Hello, All!

I'm having issues deleting child portals via the built in "Portals" admin page.  When I click on the X, I get a message stating that asp.net doesn't have access to the logs directory.  I'm not sure if this is a true access issue or due to some monkeying around that I did in the database a while ago.

When I first created this site, I set up a different child portal under the main install to hold the content for four different groups.  We later decided to merge these into the main portal and the only easy way that I saw of doing this was to change the PortalID for the affected tabs.  Since then, I can't access or delete these child portals.  I want to make sure this isn't causing the response time and vm issues I'm now having.  Is there any way of clearing out all of the unused PortalIDs from the database without going through each table?  I found a nice query that tells me all of the tables that use this particular column:

select sysobjects.name
from syscolumns
left join sysobjects on sysobjects.id = syscolumns.id
where syscolumns.name like 'PortalID'
order by 1

I'm dreading going through the 40+ tables that come back from this query!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Regards,

rdv

Update:

I double checked that the ASP.Net process had the rights to the logs directory, but the issue still persists.  I should also mention that after I moved the tabs from the child portals over to the parent portal, I can no longer navigate to any of the child portals.  I have tried setting the default tab to something that exists within those child tabs, but that didn't work either.
