Looking for a module that allows people to register and pay for events.  Each event will have some generic contact info and then additional event specific fields for registering.  Need ability for user to easily to create new events for registration and define a custom registration form for the event.

Anyone know of a module that handles this?

Does it support custom registration forms per event?  I don't think so.

I need each event registration to stand on it's own with different options, selections, fields, etc.  As far as I have seen the Events module doesn't support this plus all events are lumped into a single calendar.  I need something along the lines of a registration for a community event, commercial golf tournament, etc.  Each event is totally seperate from the others and have different signup fields and may be for different organizations.

I think the closest solution you'll find is a forms module that allow your users to create the event registration forms as required.  There are a number  of them out there varying from different degrees of functionalities and complexity.   I personally have used both  Form Master and Enterprise Forms and can recommend both but based on the info provided I'd lean towards Enterprise Forms due to its flexibility.  I'd suggest it would be best to put your requirements to the respective vendor's forums.
