Curiousity question...

My site located at www.southvillagesoftware.com is not located in the root folder. There is actually a PublicPortal folder that Dnn is installed in, and therefore, this shows up in the Url bar of the browser.

Anyone know if it's possible to hide that "PublicPortal"?

So that:

http://www.southvillagesoftware.com/PublicPortal/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx

Shows as:

http://www.southvillagesoftware.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx

ALso, I was under the impression that HRefExchanger would re-write my urls in the browser bar so that this would be the display in the Url adderss:

http://www.southvillagesoftware.com/PublicPortal/Home.aspx

I can actually navigate to that address with out issue (and my other pages), but I thought that the module would also handle navigation within the site.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance...

snapsis.com, inventua.com and ventrian.com have url rewrite modules all functioning in a different way - check them out and ask your question there, as well.

IS there at least a way to hide "PublicPortal" (subfolder) part using the internal FreindlyUrls functionality?

Anyone?
