I'm using GoDaddy's Metropolis hosting for a simple blog site and recently it just stopped working. I think it's due to a server update that a lot of people were experiencing with the funky 'e' character. I found that problem and fixed it, but I still have an issue. I cannot edit any page, use blogs, even forums, and I believe it's related to the TextEditor in use. The error I'm getting is:

Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The Runat attribute must have the value Server. ---> (with a bunch more)

Is anyone else getting this error? And what do I need to do to fix it?

Bump.

This is really crucial for me to fix, but I haven't a clue where to start looking. Any help?

Yes, this is related to the text editor, you can find the file to modify in the /controls/texteditor.ascx file

You need to replace directional quotes with standard quote characters.  I find it easiest to use Visual Studio to find the needed fixes.

Excellent! That was the file I needed to find instead of monkeying around with the EditEntry.asmx, and now I see the quotes you are talking about. They are the slanted dbl-quotes, ASCII 148, HEX 94, instead of the standard dbl-quotes ASCII 34, HEX 22. Once I changed that, everything worked fine.

Thanks!
