I have been trying to use Gemini properly when searching for bugs in DNN.  However, it seems every other click presents me with a system error.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Trying to search for something breaks it almost all the time and these are specific searches that should only return a handful of items.

I haven't ever had any problems searching.  In fact, I just new searched for all Issues in the Core that are submitted by me, and it was quite snappy in returning the results. 

I would suspect that the error you are receiving is related to the complexity of the query you chose.  Can you post your query for others to try?

I've never managed to get a search result out of Gemini and I gave up trying a few months ago. I'll try it again now....

Typed a single word and it's taking forever.. ok there it is: Gemini Application Error - An application error has occured - please advise the Gemini administrator within your organization.

It also gives a link to an error log but that just goes to the homepage after a while.

I tried another word and that seems to give a few results... again after quite a while.

My guess is that it puts up the exception if it can't find a result... so just bad design.

No complexity whatsoever.  I typed in a single word in the Find Issue box at the top and it frequently fails with an error.  It takes a long time for the searches to return as well.  Sometimes if I re-run them, they work.  It makes working with it rather difficult and it is very important to search for duplicate bugs before reporting new ones.

That's interesting...  As a matter of habit, I choose "Any" for any category which doesn't need filtering.  I wonder if that is our difference since I am getting search results...
