Anyone use either tool or both? I'd like to hear some pro's and con's about both.

I've used Xmod and read the doc for H2O, not particularly overwhelmed with either. If you have at least some technical expertise, I'd recommend listx from bi4ce (dnn.bi4ce.com). Its incredibly versatile (NOTE: they do have a 2.0 version supposedly coming out soon, but I don't know when they are now targeting) but it does have a learning curve.

I've owned both. No comparison in my opinion - Xmod will do more and has MUCH better support and documentation.

ListX is no doubt the most powerful but the learning curve is pretty steep - unless you already know the sql language, html, javascript, etc.

The only issue is if you want to read AND write to rregular sql tables. Xmod stores it's data in XML in a specific table structure.  If you want to use any existing databases you may already have I would look at Indoo Grid. But, Xmod still has the best display engine and will allow you to do the most.  Just depends on what you want it for.

ListX 2.0 is just about to go into beta testing. It is being renamed as Open Web Studio and can be used on either a DNN platform or Sharepoint. You can read more here:   Listx 2.0 - New Name Open Web Studio (OWS)

ListX is more of an IDE than a "point and click" form builder module. In short it makes it easier for you to create database driven forms & reports, using AJAX if you want, but you can't get away from having to know HTML, SQL and maybe some JS.
