Hi
I am having issues where I add a page or module and it may or may not appear immediately. One or two page clicks later it will appear, next mouse click it will be missing again from the navigation menu, back and forth, appearing and dissapearing. after a half hour or so it seems to stabalize to the point where it shows in a consistant state. Very strange, what do you think may cause this? Adding or editing settings with pages and modules display this behavior. Moving pages also displays this behavior. Editing content within a module seems immune and displays just fine. Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike

this seems to be a caching issue, please check the caching settings of your web server, your browser and all proxies in between.

I thought the same thing but I am running out of places to check. I've bypassed cache on the web server, deleted cache and restarted different browsers and machines and networks, and bypassed our proxy caching hardware. Host performance settings are set as:

persistance=page
module caching = memory
performance setting = light caching (no caching causes 2+ minute load time)
authenticated caheability = no cache

Any ideas on what I may be overlooking would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
Mike

try to exclude other components: does the same happen, if you access the site directly with IE installed on web server locally? does this happen locally with IE and FireFox browser?

This is most likely happening because you have more than one worker process pointing at the same DNN install.
The first place to check would be to see if you App Pool in IIS is set to use more than one process (configured as a web garden).
