Hi

I was going around the DB part of DNN and wanted to explore it, finally i attatched the mdf to my SQL Server, now DNN is not running .

its giving up error saying cannot connect to the database, access denied for webserver\sqlexpress.

webserver is my machine on which i installed DNN.

Please help....

Ahmada,

It is my understanding that when using SQL Express, you can either be using Management Studio to perform administrative tasks on the database OR running your web site - in other words you cannot run the site and view the DB in Management Studio at the same time.
