I'm still using DNN Version 2 (or so). I have been attempting to send out a newsletter-style bulk mail message to registered users, but the bulk mailer truncates the referenced URL's for images. I've tried uploading images to the portal using the File Manager and linking directly to those; I've also tried referencing images from an external source. In each case, when I send the message, the URL for the image is reduced to the lowest-level directory and the image name. All the information preceding the finall directory and image name is eliminated. My bulk mail message is always composed in Dreamweaver, and the code is copied into the text area in the bulk mailer.

Any idea why this is happening?

Not the answer you are looking for, but I would definately recommend upgrading to 4.8.3 or version 5 when it comes out.

Cheers....
