Even though they don't prevent my compiling the project, it still annoys me.

I just download the latest 4.8.3 source, and I can get the following warnings:

  19. Library\Components\SyndicationHandlers\SyndicationHandlerBase.vb(4) : warning BC40026: 'SyndicationHandlerBase' is not CLS-compliant because it derives from 'GenericRssHttpHandlerBase', which is not CLS-compliant.

I am using VS.NET 2005. Is this my problem or the source code problem?

For compatibility reasons, there are some obsolete classes contained, which call other internal methods that are obsolete as well. those classes will be eliminated in DNN 5.0.
