I have been testing a demo site for two hours. I was automatically logged off an can't get back into the control panel.  I login no problem but it won't let me get into the Edit view.  What can I do besides start a new site?

Blondie:

The best thing you could do is to jump right in and install DNN on your PC.  In that way you will get the whole picture with no limitations.

Use the "Install" package, not the source package, to keep things simple, it is precompiled and it has all features (the language on the downloads page is kind of confusing to people new to DNN).  You do not need Visual Studio or Express but you do need SQL Server and IIS on the PC.  DNN works with SQL 2000 and 2005, but I would recommend you to install 2008 Express.

I know what you're saying, but I wanted to show the demo to my team and play with it before investing any more time.  The thing said we could access it for two days. Am I just SOL?

The demo sites get resetted every 2 days, and therefore it says maximal for 2 days.

If you want to get started and create a site to show your collegues, I really suggest to install it locally.
