Dear friends,

I have purchased "Active Forums" 4.1 version. Now i wish to remove the "Active Forums" link and logo displayed at the bottom of the module.

I have tried my extent to remove it, but everything in vain.

If anybody could help me, it would of highly useful to me.

I have aksed the same question on the AF forums and was told that it was possible and would remain (the link is gone in AF Enterprise 4.1.4 but the product branding text remains). I think this is ridiculous (I could MAYBE understand it on a free product but not one that I have paid a lot of money for - imagine if DNN required you to keep the DNN product branding visible?).

I'm sure Active Modules will remove this limitation if enough people do not want it.

I purchase the activeforum modules because there isn't any real competition for a decent forum and the product is outstanding for the most part. But there are a couple of business practices (inability to remove branding, etc) that are counter to the long standing DNN culture.

It is one thing to protect your intellectual property (which I certainly agree with) and find some way enforce the support agreement...but to embed a logo and prevent people from sharing info on a product (doesn't cost them anything really), will in the end cost them customers.
