Here's an interesting problem.  I can view this site in IE7 (which is what I'm using now), but a vanilla Google Chrome browser (with only Flash installed as a third party plugin) won't load the site.  It somehow gets stuck at loading (the whirly page-load icon just keeps whirling), while displaying a blank white page.

Tabbing away and back, I see a "Waiting for www.dotnetnuke.com.." message at the bottom.  I can view source, though, and see the entire page's source code.

I've also reported this to Google, in case it's something on their end.  I haven't been able to load DotNetNuke.com in Chrome on my system for about a month now.

(Quick check on the wife's computer, and she can see the site in Chrome (both running the same OS).  So it's something on my end.  Any ideas?)

Use another browser (plenty of issues with this browser), check you firewall/cookie settings/javascript/privacy settings.

... and try google chrome forums as this really is an issue with their browser not our software.

Hope this helps.

It may not be a "framework" issue, but it is certainly a "skinning" issue. A client won't seperate the two and the "use another browser" excuse won't fly with a client either.

It should not fly within the community either, Alex.

It's not hard to design sites that are browser agnostic. I have no issues with 5 of my DNN sites in the Chrome browser (as well as other browsers).

This site actually did work in the current version of Chrome for me, but there were some layout issues with the acton icons just below the banner ad. This is not a browser issue, is not a DNN issue, it is a Css/design issue.

I'm posting from chrome right now. Latest version.

I don't know how to see the 3rd party stuff installed. But I remember getting on the DNN forums when chrome first came out without trouble.

Not much in this post, just wanted to say that it works for me, as do all the DNN sites I go to on chrome.
