While writing a reply to a thread regarding my hosting provider I was reminded of something I wanted to share (about 6 mos ago :)) with the community.

I used DNN to build a maintenance mgmt sys for our clients. Since it was for business and not just internal to our company I didn't want to use child portals (if one goes down they all go down). So I choose to do seperate installs for each client.  The problem then became how to replicate the app.  It turned out that our hosting provider - PowerDNN - had a site cloning tool that they used internally that they set up on our server.  I then set up a blank "template" install of the app and in about 6 or 7 clicks of the mouse I could have a fresh DNN install with the app installed as well.

There may be other ways to do this but I thought I would share because the site cloning tool made it very easy for me and I thought maybe someone else might like to know if it's existance.

Greg
