i know that we can set an email expression in 'User Accounts' -> 'User Accounts Settings' -> 'Email Address Validation'. i would like to know that is a built-in function that allows us to validate a string against this expression and returns the result.

Hey Kai,

I believe what you are looking for is DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.IsValidEmailAddress. It accepts an email address and a portal ID and validates against the email regular expression for that portal.
