A trend I am noticing is whenever I read an article about CMS's, DNN doesn't seem to get high marks. I have also checked out some sitebuilders and they all have nice interfaces like Drag & Drop). DNN's interface needs a major overhaul and come closer to Web2.0.

Improving the user experience is on the roadmap for DNN in 2009.

I suggest you help us improve it - do you have anything to contribute? What is your skill set?

Maybe his skillset is the ability to observe, to pull facts together, to ask questions and focus attention.

You don't have to be a programmer to notice and comment. Your response, Alex, is only a slightly veiled way of saying "If you aren't going to help us fix it, then shut up."

I consider such a response unwarranted, however veiled. Please allow such comments to be made without this kind of push-back.

On a separate but related note, I wonder if any of you have checked this out:

The leaders of Drupal, Joomla and WordPress go head to head. Each builds a site in 100 hours or less with these goals and further strictures. It would be interesting to see a similar kind of competition involving DNN.

I like the Improvments in rel 5 its so much easier to understand the user inteface now. Just add a new language upload the files an woops everything works.

Just delete a host page and woops its gone. Amazing what you can do now. And the improvements in online help, just press a button and you can read about the old version, few other system has this feature.

I am going to vote for PE and the IG ITE  IT now
