Hello,

Complete newbie to DNN so feel free to tell me off if this is answered somewhere I haven't found but...

Assume I have a single webserver with a single installation of DNN on it.  If I then point multiple domains at this is DNN clever enough to recognise them and deliver a different portal (hope I'm using that term correctly) to the user?  Or would I need a different installation (and I guess database) for each domain?

Thanks,

Adam M.

Accepted Answer

Yes - this is easy and is done though Portal Alias settings. (on the host menu).

If you want to see it in action try

www.dynamisys.co.uk - www.agile-consultant.net  - same site

www.woottonbassettvbc.co.uk - different site

These are all on the same DNN install, same database.

Best wishes,
