Hi All,

I need some help trying to verify the existance of a possible major bug. If you have a DNN 4.9.4 public site, please do the following:

  1. Find a page on your site where you have text/html modules that have caching set to anything other than 0
  2. Copy and paste this url into Google with the "cache:" prefix before it (or replace the bold bit in the URL with your link)
  3. eg. http://74.125.153.132/search?q=cache:http://www.pokerdiy.com/find-poker.aspx
  4.  Check if all the content on the page matches the live version of your site.
  5. Let me know (either way) of the result please - either here or at rod . smart-thinker.com if you want to keep it private.

If you are unsure of how to do this but have a DNN 4.9.4 site, let me know and I will check it. I appreciate it!

Here are some sites that I have found (I just opened some of the DNN link exchange sites)- can the owners please confirm if you are running DNN 4.9.4 (and have these missing modules set to > 0 cachetime) as you have content missing on your pages in the Google Cache:

Please confirm if these are on DNN 4.9.4...

Thanks, but most importantly Michael - are you on DNN 4.9.4?

Rodney,

Just to give you an update, more information is coming in an e-mail.

Yes, my sites are running 4.9.4 that are affected.  There is a bit of good news about it, if you view the source the content IS there.  It appears to be CSS related and due to the BrowserCaps files.

This is simply a different manifestation of the issue that affected earlier 4.9.x releases, at least from what I can tell thus far.
