DNN 5.01.01

Shouldn't the Console Module only display icons for DIRECT child pages? Why does it show grandchild pages? Is there anyway to stop it from doing that?

submenus are shown as groups, AFAIK this is by design. I am not sure, if there is a depth limit option (which would be nice though).

Looking through the code... I don't see any options to change the levels fo child/grandchild tabs displayed. This along with linking images to the console directory instead of the proper file path makes it pretty difficult to use this module for any public facing pages. Hopefully these items get resolved soon and we can actually use this module!

If you need quick fix to this issue you need a very minor change to core code or you may post enhancement request as told Sebastian Leupold. You can limit the console module to show only the direct child tabs links by placing single quot i.e. ' at the beginning of line number 104 of the (root)\DesktopModules\Admin\Console\ViewConsole.ascx.vb or replace the line by "'parentIDList.Add(tab.TabID)" at line 104 Cheers.
