Hoping someone can point me in the right direction... I have a DNN 4.x site which has a feedback (contact form). The form sends email to any email I use as the site administrator's email except for email addresses matching the domain name of the site. For instance, the site is www.xyz.com (xyz is just an example) and if I use nick@xyz.com as the administrator's email address, I do not receive anything at nick@xyz.com when sending a message via the DNN feedback form. However, if I use any of my other email addresses, it works.

The @xyz.com email accounts are hosted at GoDaddy, if that makes a difference. The DNN site is not hosted at GoDaddy.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nick

This is a stab in the dark, but is it possible that the place you are hosting believes it is the mail server for the domain?  We see a similar thing when we host sites for clients on Mosso - we have to disable email provisioning for the account if they host their mail elsewhere otherwise mosso thinks it is the mx master for the domain and so processes the mail locally (which never gets delivered of course).

You'll need to check the mail server SMTP logs to know what is happening for sure.
