I'm in urgent need of some help..I installed a module and none of my content is showing up anymore.  Instead i'm getting some strange search control showing up everywhere there is supposed to be content.  Please help!

I would check to be sure that you are not in design mode.  This is up in the control panel.

That's the point I should be able to see the content in view mode and instead it's displaying some other control.

Ok I've got the content showing up now there was an incorrect assignment in the ModuleControls Table.  However, I'm now getting the following error:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.WorkflowStateController.GetFirstWorkflowStateID(Int32 WorkflowID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlModule.get_ModuleActions() at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleInstanceContext.LoadActions(HttpRequest Request) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleInstanceContext.get_Actions() at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionBase.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I couldn't find the original HTML rows in the table so I added new ones.  I'm not sure if they are 100% correct since I've never seen them before.
