Okay, I am not sure where this post should be so I put it here.

I have tried using the RAD Editor and I hate it.  I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or I just don't know how to set it up right.

I have a bunch of issues, and below are just a couple.  I will put together a bigger document if I find that I am not doing anything wrong and that the editor just has issues.

• When I press "enter" the markup produces a <br /> tag instead of making a paragraph out of what you typed.
• If I only have one liner that I want to be wrapped in a paragraph <p> I have to do it in HTML view, but since it is only one line, as soon as I click on design, it strips my paragraph tags off unless I have two lines or paragphaphs, then it will keep my changes that I made in the HTML view.

There are some other quirks, but I won't go into them further until I find out if I am just missing something or some setting in the RAD editor that I have not checked.

It is so bad though that my users can not use it because it produces horrible and unreliable markup which makes it REAL hard for me to style with CSS.

If anyone has a question or wants me to explain better, feel free to email me directly and I will talk to them via chat or on the phone.  I brought this issue up in the last SeaDUG (user group) and everyone was very surprised at my findings, especially since the RAD editor is now the default editor.
