Hi guys,

I have a requirement to show a set of images in the same place on a page, with an adjustable delay between each one.
This isnt a new image each time the page if refreshed ... this is an automatic slideshow of multiple images without a page refresh.

Just wondered if anyone has found a !free! module that does this....doesnt seem to complex but there are lots of people charging out there for rotator modules , and I havent come across a free one yet

Thanks for your suggestions and your very useful wiki page Cathal - but unfortunately I'm still not there. I guess I forgot to mention that the requirement was for the end user (ie content editor) to implement this - so a nicely wrapped module, whcih the user can add, then select folder/images by browsing, and settings editing using a nice module settings editor was a requirement.

The Telerik module seems to not exist (nothing to download) - the widget is nice (and probably the way I'd do it) but too technical for the end user, the flash based editor again to many complex steps to create and upload the flash object for the end user, and probably the best candidate - the jquery carousel is for DNN 5.4.4 and above, and I'm stuck (maybe forever!) on 5.3.2 since everything goes wrong when I try to upgrade (but thats a whole different issue)!

I guess that leaves me with only a commercial option - but grateful if anyone has further ideas, ie. a module that wraps the widget functionality with a nice UI or somethign would be great .....

I think the Jquery Carousel module works fine in 5.3.2 too.


Give it a try.
