I have just completed my site in DNN 6 but now I am trying to get the css 'Standard' menu to show correctly. What's happening is that I have a flash image on some pages and images on others and when I hover on the menu, the sub level is behind the images and flash. What weould I need to do to get this shown correctly above, i.e. in IE7.I am not used to css styling and I know if it where like how the menu was before, could just apply z-index. Now this is a css menu and its a different story but at the same time would like to use the menu currently on the site.

Donald,

Try changing the z-index on your flash controls and images. Also make sure be sure to remove overflow:hidden.

Thank you,

Thank you very much James for the help. This worked. What I did was set a css class on my panes and within the css class i specified a z-index less than that of the SubMenu level.

You might also want to check that your flash embed has the  wmode="opaque" parameter set as well - this is especially the case for people running older versions of the flash player
