I have quite a bit of experience with the DNN Spot Cart, Smith Cart and Catalook. I'd have to second Wes's statement on spending some extra $$ for a well built cart, which leaves you with 2 good choices. Catalook and Smith. It depends on what you want it to do. I put the DNN Spot cart on 1 site and won't use it again. I stick with the other 2, depending on necessary features.

1. For a simpler, easier to setup cart, Smith Cart should be your first choice, and it's the one I use most of the time. I have it on about 7 sites right now. THe only issues I find are the support can be a little frustrating, but they do try hard. Also, they have a tendency to release new features before all of the kinks are worked out. But, it's fast and easy to use. Just be sure any other jquery things like your menu and such are up to date or they will have conflicts.

2. Option 2 is Catalook, and while it is slower and a little harder to setup, it is a stable cart. It's like a tank in that it has some outdated stuff, it is solid and work well and has a ton of features like booking options and aftermarket skins. I have found their support to be solid as well. I have built it on abut 5 sites.
Hope this helps!
