Hello,

Is it possible to configure the Text/HTML module for example:

1. Allowing only 1 type of Font Family

2. Do not allowing to put tables inside it

If it's possible, how to do that for all Text/HTML modules in a portal level?

I'm a .NET software developer, if it's not possible with some configuration, is it possible by code? If yes, where should i look at?

Thanks in advance, DMitar

you can update the html editor settings via the host->html editor manager - there are some additional tweaks you can do via the various config files - see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W... and http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W... for more details (dependant on the version you're running

Thanks for you answer!

 I'm using DNN 6.2.5.

For example, if i want to forbid adding table i could remove in "Toolbar Configuration" the tool name="InserTable" and remove from "Edit Configuration" the "Html edit mode". But still the user can paste (Ctrl+V) a table in the module and use tables.

Can you advice what should i do if i want to forbid adding table to Text/HTML module and more importantly allow only one type of Font Family?

Should i specifically do something in editor.css file?

if you want to stop/change the user editing content you can wire up custom code via the script points e.g.the paste html point under client script settings. Whilst the editor can be customized to now show certain things, at the end of the day the user can still type straight html into the editor -if you want to stop this you'll likely have to write javascript to execute after each key press

Hi Cathal,

Thanks for your answers. Where exactly I should write this javascript event?

Can you configure the Text/HTML module:
1. By portal
2. By module

As i see this is Host option and I think it's not possible, but still it might have this option...
