I find something strange in DNN7.

I accidentally put the wrong SRC value for a <img> tag, and the image is not displaying. But for some reason, this cause DNN 7 to ignore edit mode. When I am in the page with the missing image, I am stuck with View mode. I experimented with a new page, enter edit mode normally, edit a HTML module and put in a invalid src attribute, and save, page reload, stuck in view mode again.

Has someone seen this error before???

What exactly did you put in the src that was wrong - was it some markup or quotes.

Any system that injects markup elements into a html page can corrupt other elements on the page.  Its the nature of the beast - forgetting to close a DIV or a quote can also have similar effects.

All I put in the src attribute is a slash like this:
<img src="/" />

I was planning to put a real image later but now I can't even edit anything on the page.
