Since the past couple days, I'm getting a lot of the following exceptions.  It's probably a couple every minute.  I've not changed anything on the site.

Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. there might be a performance issue with your SQL server. I would cleanup eventlog (if you are on DNN 7.4.0, please see http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-...), sitelog and schedule history and make sure, transaction log gets truncated during frequent backups.

typically that indicates you are having network problems connecting to your sql server (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18... offerts various things you can check) - however, typically if you are set up wrong nothing will work, its odd to see it occasionally work. At a guess I would say that a network device is causing multiple routes to be traversed (e.g. a load balancer or firewall), and one of more of the routes is not working (e.g. perhaps doesn't allow the sql server port)

Cathal is correct, network issues are another option besides SQL Server performance issues (which are more likely from my experience)

The sites work fine though. If there was a SQL issue, wouldn't I be getting a problem there too?
