Hi DNN’ers.

I’m using dnn version 6.2 and am trying to add the below source code for a video to my site.  When I add it to a basic html page outside of dnn, it works and displays the video. I first tried to add it an html panel in HTML mode.  But when I save the panel or simply click Design mode, the source code is removed dnn.  I then tried to add the http url to an iframe panel which rendered it as text.

Do you have any ideas?

<script height="434px" width="770px" src="http://player.ooyala.com/iframe.js#pbid=4839d4b491844b6da3d47f354f217ce5&ec=pxd3U5dTrPPIZihPm99qB36x5z9w32VT"></script>

Thanks.

I assume that you are adding this script to a standard HTML module using the HTML option.  Ensure that the script is entered in the correct sequence for an HTML page.

I use a table format on my website http://www.thevwc.org/Our-Shop/Shop-Operations/Shop-Monitors within the HTML module.

Hi Hans.

Thanks for your post.  I think this player is a little unusual. I tried putting the http source address in a dnn iframe panel and it rendered it as text. I've put this code inside of an <iframe> tag in a dnn html panel and dnn removed the <script>.

I've used youtube videos of track DE's that display with no prob using a couple of <parm> tags and an <embed> for the src and they work with no prob.

Thanks.

David

IIRC, SCRIPT tags are removed from the HTML module and might also be removed in other modules depending on the text editor settings.

David: You'll need to add the code into the Module Settings Header (Basic Settings/Advanced Settings).
