I am using DNN Action Forms to Authenticate the user. I need to make a server request to someones API and get an Authentication Token. then i need to save that user authenticated token "access_token" in the session.

Then I need to make a second server request in iframe and passing “access_token” along with it to identified the user to another site.

My questions are:

1. can we save the Authentication Token in session?

2. I see similarities in server request in Action Forms vs API endpoint, but still not sure which tool will best server my needs?

Basically, I have a form that needs to update info on another person’s website. They require me to grab a token first, then pass that token back to them when I make the call to update their user. Their API is all in REST and I am use POST to communicate with them.
