I can't find a forum for the "What's New" module so I will ask here.

Is there any way to filter what appears in this module? E.g. Our secretary is frequently updating the DG's calendar and I don't really want that to show up in the "What's New" as it generates heaps of entries and obscures all the other announcements and document additions which are taking place.

Or is there a good replacement for this module anyone can recommend?

Thanks

I think you can try to disable the seach in the Module settings of the DG`s calendar.

Matthias

There are other problems with the Events module and What's New?

If you happen to use two Event Modules - one as a Calendar and one as an Event list - and even if one is set as a slave to the other (ie: not two seperate calendars) - then What's New? shows twice the events.  Which makes the clutter twice as bad! ;-)

I've posted this in the Bug-Base.  It is either a bug or a design flaw.

Thanks Matthias I will try your suggestion.

Rob, Yes now that you mention it I see that is the case. I have a list slaved to a calendar for the DG and the items are appearing twice. I guess we have to wait for a bug fix.

Cheers,

John
