Hello,

I recently inherited responsibility for a DotNetNuke website that is having an issue in the announcements module.  I have never used DNN or jquery before so I am having a really difficult time with it. On one of my pages I use an HTML footer module to add jquery to change the layout of the announcements module. The code converts the tables into a list and then lays them out in a gallery as well as sorting the entries by category. The sorting code is broken somehow but I cant check it because I have a larger problem in DNN. Any time I save changes to the footer module, even if no changes were actually made, the jquery layout code goes completely wonky. I cant test the sorting code if the page save function breaks the layout code. I am running DNN community 5.3.1 and jquery 1.4.2. I have been asking for an upgrade to both but am not hopefull at this point. I tried to instal DNN 7.0.6 on a computer at home to see if it is any better but hit several errors and gave up for a bit.
