I am new to the Fck editor and the problem I have is when I am using it and I hit enter.

The next line is double spaced. How do I change that?

Hold down the Shift key when you press Enter. This will insert a <br>.

Thank you for your time. I found the answer in the fckconfig.js file. I changed the FCKConfig.UseBROnCarriageReturn   from false to true and it now works in i.e.

Thanks!!!

This is default behaviour in most of the text editors - including MS word:

  • return: new paragraf
  • shift-return: new line
