Greetings All,

   I just did a new install of 4.3.5 at this time and had only one error during the install, below is the output from the installation page.  My only worry is the reports module reporting error, is this something I should worry about?

   Unfortunately no, not at this time.  Also I am being forced to consider other possible alternatives to the DNN platform due to my site simply not being active enough to use this platform.  With how slowly this loads even after only 20 minutes inactivity it simply makes the portal inefficient to those who sites are just getting started.  If anyone does find a solution to this then please let me know, that or a solution to make DNN load faster on the initial page without having to pay for some expensive monitoring service that attempts to load your site every 3-10 minutes, being that if the site sets more then 10 minutes it takes 30+ seconds to load, which means most visitors will give up and move on by that time.

I was able to get this working.

It seems that there was something wrong with security settings in IIS.

Here is what I did, and hopefully this will work for you too:

  1. Uninstall IIS (From control panel > Add Remore Programs > Windows Components)
  2. Re-install IIS (From the same location)
  3. run aspnet_regiis -i to re-install asp.net 2.0 (open comand prompt here: c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.5727\)

This operation seemed to have re-aligned things in IIS and everything is working smoothly again.

   Did this only solve the issues with the reports module or also solve slowness and banner rotation issues that you may have been having as well?  Just curious at this time, though I am going to try exactly what you said and see if that solves anything for me.
