Ok, my module does not have the typical View, Edit and Settings controls.
I deleted the last 2 (not going to need it)

I created a folder structure like
Views
-- Users
-- Index.ascx
-- Create.ascx
....etc

In my root View.ascx I got a linkbutton, which I want to direct to Views/Users/Index.ascx when clicked. (Which are added in my manifest files with a ControKey of "Users").

The way I said I called it take me to the page, but without my skin applied (the reason you explained)

So I'm trying different ways to redirect with the correct url, but no far so luck.

I tried Globals.NavigateURL(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, "Users"); for instance, but that take me to a blank page (style applied correctly though, but the content of my control does not show)

You're running into the Control approach in DNN, ctl/# loads the edit/admin skin as Cathal mentioned.

You could bypass this approach though, and have your initial ASCX file do the loading, bypassing the various "view" controls in your module definition with just a single control listed there.

That control then "loads" the appropriate view, typically this is done with a custom querystring parameter. This is actually fairly common. I have an example module that you can look at to see how this can be done

http://dnnsimplearticle.codeplex.com

Take a look at the VIEW.ascx file in there, it loads controls from the /controls/ folder within the module.

Thanks!
I see this way you don't have to place those control's in the .dnn file?
Lot's to learn from when looking from a "demo", and about to make quite a few changes to my own module.

Thanks both of you, and again sorry being such a pain. Promise to get studying soon....just have to start delivering *yesterday*
