Help please! I'm about to go live and  have just found that my user group which has edit module permissions on documents is ONLY able to EDIT existing documents. The link to upload a file is missing.

Am I thinking wrongly that if a user has edit module permissions they should have the ability to upload a document? In the Repository module, this works perfectly well. What am I missing???

thanks!

You need to make sure that in file manager they are given edit permissions to the directory used by the module.

For future reference this does work. By default if you have not created a folder, you need to add write permission on the Portal Root folder.

In my case i created a folder called Documents under portal root & gave registered users write permission on it.  When the user clicks portal root when uploading a new document the upload link does not appear(no write persmission), but when the user clicks the documents folder in the dropdown the upload link appears success!!
