When clicking on the Title of a document row a page is loaded that shows an input textbox an two submit buttons labeled submit and reset. (Url produced is: http://localhost/DotNetNuke/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=EHt1MbvNNEc%3d&tabid=36&mid=368)

When clicking on download everythings works fine. (Url produced is: http://localhost/DotNetNuke/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=EHt1MbvNNEc%3d&tabid=36&mid=368&forcedownload=true)

Version of dotnet nuke: 4.3.7  module version is 03.01.06

Operation system is: W2003, Database SQLServer 2005 Express Edition Advanced Services (allways english version).

Hi goergh - I haven't been able to reproduce this problem.  Can you tell me a little more about your setup (i.e. was it an upgrade from a previous DNN version, what is the file name/type of the file).

Also, can you try from a different PC (or different browser - like Firefox) to see if it is browser-related?

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

The way I installed the module: installing DotNetNuke via "DotNetNuke_4.3.7_Install.zip", then removing

the document module (with "delete files"), then installing the module via "Documents_03.01.06_Install.zip"

The error occurs with the following browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0.3790.1830 SP 1 and

Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11CO.  I yust tested Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1. Firefox works!

I did a second install the same way. The error with Internet Explorer is reproducable.

I am moving to the newest version of DotNetNuke now, installing with StarterPack.

If you have further questions: I will preserve the old version.

Hi,

this seems to be a browser specific feature (sorry for taking your time).

When using a textfile with suffix ".txt" Internet Explorer shows the text input in the browser.

If the text containts html-code that code is evaluated.
