After I upload a document and then try to view the document by clicking on the link, I get an error stating "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I've also noticed that the same thing happens in the File Manager.  When I try to open any documents or images from the File Manager, I also get the same error.  So, this could be more of an issue than just the Document module.  Anyone have any ideas?

I'm also having that problem with version 3.1.6 (DNN4.4). However, I also see related problems with the Media module. It seems to be a problem with handling LinkClick.aspx . Accessing the file with a direct URL is no problem.

Any ideas?

For me, disabling both compression and white space filtering (host settings) made the problem go away. It appears to be a problem with the Core, and is one of the things being fixed for 4.4.1, IIRC.
