I have both whitespace filter and compression off. Also i just have upgraded to version 4.4.1

Still after these adjustmenst i still have a document which is not showing up although my module has been set to be visible to all users.

Any other suggestions?

My problem is solved.

It was all about rights, not being set for this file in the file manager (admin/file manager). I had the same problem with downloading attachments from the forum. So the solution Chris provided worked for both my problems (forum & documents)
