Hi all,

Can  anyone tell me where the module will get added when we add a new module in DOTNETNUKE. I didn't find the module under the desktop modules folder

in DOTNETNUKE folder after adding the module. Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Raj

When you INSTALL a new module (using Host -->Module Definitions or Host-->Extensions interface), its various user controls (.ascx files) and other supporting files will be placed into a folder under the DesktopModules folder.

If you are asking about what happens when ADDing a module to a page, normally only database changes are made.

If you tried to INSTALL a module and its files did not appear in a folder under the DesktopModules folder, did you see any error messages during the installation? What module (and its version) were you trying to install? What is your DotNetNuke framework version?
