I recently started a site for a client on 3Essentials.com.  Everything is running great but I noticed I don't have the default modules available. By default, I mean the ones that came with my installation I have on my computer locally.  I really would like to have the Announcements module, but I can't find a download of the install for this module.

If anyone could tell me where I can find this module I would be eternally greatful!

Thanks

Installation packages for all of the current DotNetNuke "core" modules such as Blog, Wiki, Gallery, etc. are already included in your DotNetNuke package. When logged in as host navigate to Host-->Extensions, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page then click on the "Install Available Extensions" button. You will be presented with a check box list of extensions already included in the package. Check those extensions you wish to install then click the "Install Selected Extensions" button. The installed extensions will then become available in your control panel's Add Module drop down list. For performance reasons, it is best to only select and install extensions that you really plan to use rather than installing all available extensions.

In some cases, more recent versions of "core" modules may be obtained from the project's Forge/CodePlex downloads page. These are usually beta versions which are still undergoing development and testing and should not in most cases be used on a live production site.

You will also find "non-core", free, open source modules and other extensions in the DotNetNuke Forge. Commercially developed modules and extensions of all types may be purchased at SnowCovered.
