I just installed DNN 5 and it came with the documents module, Everything seems to be working ok with the site, but when I try to add the documents module to a page I get this error.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this please?

Please make sure that you have both the connection strings defined in the web.config setting, there are two settings.

Which connection strings? Can you point me to the instructions for installing this module.

The connection strings are in the web.config file for DotNetNuke. Instructions for installing the module are to upload it via the Host/Extensions page as with any other module for DNN.

My guess is that when you setup DNN however you only configured one of the connectionstrings, not both, and the Documents module is expecting the other string to be configured.

Thanks for the info Chris, I did read the DNN installation instructions and can not find anything about the "Second" connection string, nor with any of the docs for the documentation mod. This mod was installed as part of the base install. Can you please point out where in the web config I would configure this second string. I have read through it about 10 times and see nothing that would relate to the Documents Mod.

Thanks
