Hi

I have setup a DNN site (V5.04.04) with Vivo Social.  I have added a login control to page but if you click the "Register" link it does not go to the registration form?  It just refresh the page and has the same User Name and Password elements showing.

The Login ability of the page actually works, as does the "Forgotten Password" feature.  But its just the "Register" button is not showing correctley.

Any ideas on what im doing wrong?

in site settings, make sure, registration tab is not set.

Hi, thanks for reply

What I ended up doing was

  • Create a New Page
  • Add the Users and Roles module - this will add 3 modules to the page, the security roles module, the user accounts module (for managing users) and the user account module (for user registration and editing of profile).
  • Delete the security roles module and the user accounts module from the page
  • This will just leave the user account module on the page, add any additional modules to the page that you require
  •  Go to the admin menu / site settings
  •  / Advanced Settings / User Page
  • Select the new page that you have created
  • Click on update

    Um, that may have worked but definitely the longer and more painful "fix".

    The simplest route would be to log in as HOST user and gone to Admin --> Site Settings

    Under "Page Management" set the "User Registration/Profile Page" to " and click "Update" at the bottom of the page.
