This sounds like the HTML module upgrade did not run correctly.
Are you able to log into your site and see if there is an HTML module installed?
I think if you just re-install the HMTL module you might be okay

Thanks Ken,
Yes I am able to login to the site but every HTML container has the error above. I can add new page and new html module to a container but of course I get the same error. how I can install HTML module and where I can download it from?
on the site it self the host and admin menu still looks like its DNN 4.9 but the CPanel looks like DNN 5.x . I tried to go to module definition but I have no option of install new module nor I can view installed modules. is there away to install it while the site like this?
Also, will I lose all the Text/HTML content that I had before if I upgrade the HTML module?
sorry for all this questions but I am new to this framework.
any help is greatly appreciated.

Nidal;
You need to verify, with GoDaddy, that the IIS AppPool for your site is using DefaultAppPool and not Classic .NET AppPool
If it is set to Classic you need to get it changed to DefaultAppPool
You should also verify that the server you are on is running ASP.NET v2.0/3.5 SP1 for the DefaultAppPool which DNN 5.5 requires.

You will need to download the 5.5 Upgrade package from http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releas...

Do you have a file and database backup of this site prior to the upgrade?
I would like to suggest that you restore back to 4.9 and then run the 5.5 upgrade package.

I understand why GoDaddy upgraded you to 5.5, however, it looks to me that the upgrade did not properly complete so your site is in an altered and incomplete state.
