If I use the standard url in a browser to get to my website (e.g. http://mywebsite.com), I just get a message from the domain service provider telling me that the domain has been registered. However, if I go to this url (http://mywebsite.com/dotnetnuke), then I get to my website. How can I access my website via a browser using just (http://mywebsite.com)?

it looks like DNN has been installed in a virtual directory and not in the root of your web site. please contact your hosting provider for moving the application to the root or pointing the domain to the DotNetNuke subdirectory.
