Hi, I am having problems with the rad editor and it is showing my site background image instead of white. I have put the code:<br /> <br /> <pre><property name="CssFiles">~\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Telerik\Config\CustomOverride.css</property></pre> into the ConfigDefault.xml file as instructed on the 'Overriding the Background color of the Telerik RadEditor' page as instructed, but it doesn't say where the CustomOverride.css is located. I have put a new CustomOverride.css with the following code <pre>body { background-color: #ffffff; }</pre> into the Config folder but my background hasn't changed. Where is the CustomOverride.css file? And what have I done wrong?<br /> <br /> Thank you in anticipation, innerglow.

What version of dnn are you using ??

If you are running dnn6x you should be making these settings via the HTML Editor Manager module.

And making use of the editor.css file alternative at the skin level

Hi Westa,

Yes I am using dnn6. Thanks for your reply. I have found the HTML Editor Manager but nowhere in there can I find how to change the editor background color can you give me a clue?

Also, I have looked extensively for the editor.css but no luck, would you mind giving me the path?

Thanks heaps for your time.

The RadEditor provider can be setup to use the styles in the editor.css file to control the styles that render all the elements inside the HTML editor window.

For example these two lines placed in editor.css - set the background to almost black and the default foreground color to white verdanam12px inside the HTML EDITOR

/* Default HTML BODY               --*/
body { margin: 0 0 0 0; background:#111111; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; color:#ffffff; }
/* DNN HTML BODY                       --*/
#Body { margin: 0 0 0 0; background:#111111; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; color:#ffffff; }
