I have recently upgraded to dnn 6.01.02. Community Version. I have  a problem with the jave script code being removed when using the both html editors. I have a Purchase button and  a Check Out button that point to an external shopping cart .Neither Button works. I have tested both in a standard html page and the code does what it is suppose to. I posted this issue a couple of days ago and one of the forum participants told me to upgarde to 6.01.02 and that thier was an option in the new version that would allow me to manually change this setting so that my java script code would work in the htlm editor. Can anybody walk me through this process and tell me what i need to do to get my code to work.

Thank You

OC

Hi Olie,

It was actually the second option of William's reply on your other post (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/200/threadid/442277/scope/posts.aspx) that applied as your posted code was within a form tag.

You need to use an Iframe or custom module.

Thank you for your help. What type of custom module do i need? I have tried the Iframe option, but I name not quite sure how to place such a long string of code. I applogize for not being more knowledable at using DNN. I have only used the basic DNN tools.

Olie

Hi Olie,

Don't worry about not being more knowledgeable about DNN, we all started out like that and, after 3 years, I'm still far from being an "expert" myself!

I have never used the Iframe module either, so I can't help with that option.

As to a custom module, I had the same issue as you with adding a PayPal button to my site and I simply bought a cheap PayPal module from Snowcovered.com. As the code entered in to the module generates the button displayed, I would have thought something like that would be suitable for Obout as well but you would need to check with the vendor.
